In 2008, Casie McMurray Acosta, joined AFA as a Grants & Funding Specialist. Mrs. Acosta works with AFA clients to review funding options for municipal and civic projects. Mrs. Acosta has over fifteen years experience in marketing, advertising, public relations and grant writing. She is a member of American Grant Writer's Association and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Speaking/Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Our Grants & Funding Services include:
- Identifing goals/needs of client and project
- Working with local and federal legislative delegates to submit projects for approval
- Assisting local government with official documents neccessary for funding agencies
- Researching funding options through federal, state, local programs, as well as, over 100,000 foundations in the United States
